Dhaka to Panchagarh train schedule

There are three intercity trains that run between Dhaka and Panchagarh, which are Ekota Express, Drutojan Express, and Panchagarh Express. They have different departure and arrival times, as well as different off days. The table below shows the train schedule for each train.

It leaves Dhaka at 12:10 am and reaches Panchagarh at 9:40 am, taking about nine and a half hours to complete the journey. The return trip starts from Panchagarh at 1:15 pm and ends in Dhaka at 9:55 pm. The train has 12 coaches, including two air-conditioned ones. Panchagarh Express stops at nine stations on its way to Panchagarh, which are: Biman Bandar, Joydebpur, Mouchak, Mirzapur, Tangail, BB Setu (East), SM Monsur Ali, Jamtoil, and Ullapara.

Drutojan Express is the older and more frequent train service on this route. It runs every day except for Tuesdays. It leaves Dhaka at 8:00 pm and reaches Panchagarh at 6:10 am the next day, taking about ten hours and ten minutes to complete the journey. The return trip begins from Panchagarh at 10:15 pm and ends in Dhaka at 7:00 am the next day. The train has 12 coaches, including four air-conditioned ones. The ticket prices are similar to those of Panchagarh Express, except for the AC Berth class, which costs 1599 Taka instead of 1942 Taka.

Drutojan Express stops at 19 stations on its way to Panchagarh, which are: Biman Bandar, Joydebpur, Mouchak, Mirzapur, Tangail, BB Setu (East), SM Monsur Ali, Jamtoil, Ullapara, Boral Bridge, Chatmohar, Ishurdi Bypass (North), Poradaha Bypass (North), Alamdanga Bypass (North), Chuadanga Bypass (North), Darsana Halt (North), Court Chandpur Bypass (North), Jessore Bypass (North), and Noapara.

Both trains offer online ticket booking facilities through Bangladesh Railway’s official website¹ or mobile app². Alternatively, tickets can be purchased from authorized agents or railway stations. However, it is advisable to book tickets in advance as they tend to sell out quickly due to high demand.
